This being the first post for all things being La Cosa Nostra (”Our Thing”) in the Search industry, I just wanted to welcome you to the SEOpranos site and hope this will be the start of great conversations in the Search world.
I have been in Search for a while now, have seen the funny and the ugly, and would like to share my experience working on sites of all sizes, from large big brand websites to personal websites. There should be no mistake: I plan on keeping it real when it comes to talking about the latest in Search out there.
Just in case things get heavy and we already have to “go to the mattresses”, I wanted to use this first post as a shoutout to all my brothahs and sisters out there in the Search world that I’ve become friends with throughout the years:
My good bud Damien and his partner Scott Jangro at BumpZee! Great site if you haven’t checked it out yet. I became good friends with Damien a long time ago when we worked together, and he is truly a brilliant guy and this website is showing it. I think they definitely found an innovative way of getting communities of all kinds together, including an affiliate community and an SEO community (started by my fellow paisan and brothah Sherwood Stranieri). Shout out to a good friend and Search expert blogger David Wilson at Social-Media-Optimization.com, Pavel K “The Mad Russian”, Johnny Shum, Jason McG, Jennie B., Lee T & the rest of the Search posse out there. Word!
BTW - This basic WordPress template needs a nice Italian makeover like some gold chains and peppers. Will get that happening ASAP on the new release of this search engine news blog SEOpranos.com.
